Bear Creek Lake Park
Hayrides, biking, windsurfing, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking and fishing can all be found in this wonderful hideaway, only a quarter of a mile east of C-470 freeway near Morrison. Indoor nature center features wildlife displays and information. The park is also home to an array of wildlife - snakes, birds, coyotes, prairie dogs, birds of prey, and deer.

Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum

Dinosaur Ridge
Track a T-Rex along dinosaur Ridge. This outdoor museum, a National Landmark, preserves dinosaur tracks, fossils, footprints and other evidence of prehistoric life. Bones from some of the largest dinosaurs were discovered here.

Coors Brewery
Come visit the world's largest single-site brewery in the world and take a free, self-guided tour of the brewery; highlights include the malting, brewing, and packaging processes. At the end of the tour, if you are 21+ with a valid ID, you may sample Coors products in the hospitality lounge. Coors Brewery Tours will be operating tours 7-days/week during the summer, through Labor Day. During the 7-day/week summer time period, hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 10a.m. - 4p.m. and Sundays, noon - 4p.m. Tours will also operate on Saturday, 7/4.  Brewery tours will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, 9/7. Mother Cabrini Shrine
Mother Cabrini Shrine, located beyond the foothills of Golden, Colorado, was established by Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini as a summer camp for orphan children and for the purpose of spreading the gospel. With her beatification in 1938, the property became a place of prayer, pilgrimage and devotion to Mother Cabrini and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
