Bear Creek Lake Park
Hayrides, biking, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking and fishing can all be found in this wonderful hideaway, only a quarter of a mile east of C-470 freeway near Morrison.  Indoor nature center features wildlife displays and information. The park is also home to an array of wildlife – snakes, birds, coyotes, prairie dogs, birds of prey, and deer.

Clement Park

Jefferson County Open Space
30 parks and properties and almost 200 miles of trails throughout the county. From the dramatic sculptural quality of the red stone outcrops at South Valley Park to the expansive mountain meadow at Elk Meadow Park near Evergreen, Jefferson County Open Space provides non-motorized trail-based recreation in vibrant and varied landscapes.  Established in 1972 when voters approved a one-half of one percent sales tax to acquire lands of scenic, natural and historic value and trails thereon, Open Space continues to preserve important lands for the physical, psychological, recreational and social enjoyment of present and future generations.

City of Wheat Ridge Clear Creek Trail
The Clear Creek Trail was recently named one of 40 trails across the nation officially designated as a “National Recreation Trail.”  The 6.5 mile family-friendly urban trail located just south of Interstate 70 runs from Harlan to Youngfield Street winding through the scenic Wheat Ridge Greenbelt.  The Clear Creek Trail provides numerous conservation benefits and recreation opportunities including biking, kayaking, and bird watching.  http://ci.wheatridge.co.us  or call 303-235-2826

Foothills Golf Course
"Most Family Friendly Golf Course" in Colorado by Avid Golfer Magazine in 2004 & 2005! The Foothills Golf Course features an 18-Hole Championship Course, a 9-Hole Executive Course, and a 9-Hole Par 3 Course for a variety of golfing experiences. The facility also features a lighted grass driving range, lighted short game area and lighted practice putting green. Lights are on, weather permitting, until 10:00 p.m. through August.

Fossil Trace
A Jim Engh designed championship golf courses, Fossil Traces is nestled adjacent to the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front Range. Homestead Golf Course
The Homestead is a unique golf course, a bridge between a championship and an executive golf course, offering several sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The Homestead measures over 5,000 yards, a par 65 with an elevation change of over 200 feet on the course. The links-style course features eight par 3's, nine par 4's and one par 5.

The Meadows Golf Club
