Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum
The Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum, which opened February of 2008, is devoted to the stories of mountains and mountaineers. Buffalo Bill’s Museum & Grave
This museum features hands on activities and exhibits about
the life of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody.

Dinosaur Ridge
Track a T-Rex along dinosaur Ridge. This outdoor museum,
a National Landmark, preserves dinosaur tracks, fossils,

National Renewable Energy Labs
The NREL Visitors Center in Golden, Colorado, showcases
technologies that can save energy, improve the environment
and lower the cost of energy bills. Visitors of all ages
can take a self-guided tour through the interactive exhibit
hall and learn about energy from the sun, wind, biomass,

Tiny Town
The oldest kid-sized village and railroad in the US! Tiny

Bear Creek Lake Park
Bear Creek Lake Park offers an abundance of recreational

Mother Cabrini Shrine
Mother Cabrini Shrine, located beyond the foothills of
Golden, Colorado, was established by Saint Frances Xavier
Cabrini as a summer camp for orphan children and for
the purpose of spreading the gospel. With her beatification
in 1938, the property became a place of prayer, pilgrimage
and devotion to Mother Cabrini and the Sacred Heart of
Jesus.
